The UFC has announced its schedule of fight cards for the first quarter of 2025. Like this year, the fight promotion plans to stage 11 events in the first three months of 2025.
The UFC has three pay-per-views and eight UFC Fight Night events booked for January through March 2025. The first event scheduled for the coming year is a UFC Fight Night event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for January 11. The first pay-per-view card of the year is UFC 311, which will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. That arena opened in August of this year.
The UFC has not been to the Intuit Dome, something UFC CEO Dana White addressed at the UFC 309 post-fight press conference.
“It’s new,” White said of the arena. “You know, I like new arenas, new technology, and this place is supposed to be badass, so I’m looking forward to checking it out. I can’t wait.”
The promotion has not announced a main event for the UFC 311 pay-per-view card.
Of the 11 events announced for 2025, four UFC Fight Nights have been confirmed for the Apex in Las Vegas, while two other Fight Night events do not have a confirmed location as of yet.
Last year six of the first 11 events took place at the UFC Apex. If the two unconfirmed events end up in locations other than the Apex it looks as if the UFC is making good on its promise to hold less events in the small arena.
In November, UFC senior vice president for international operations Dave Shaw said of the Apex, “There’ll be an increased number of fan events outside of the Apex relative to this year as we get into the 2025 schedule. With that said, is there always going to be a certain number of Apex events moving forward – like it will always be maybe one a month? Yes.”
• February 1 – UFC Fight Night at The Venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
• March 22 – UFC Fight Night at The O2 in London, England
