Top 2 singles seeds alive, top 2 doubles seeds out after state girls tennis quarters/semis

Nina Abalos will get a chance to defend her title on her birthday as she won both her matches on Sunday during the 2024 NJSIAA girls tennis state singles and doubles tournaments quarterfinals and semifinals at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. The top-seed from Montclair Kimberley will join Pingry’s second-seeded Anika Paul at 10:00 a.m. on Oct. 19 back at MCP. Abalos also won the championship a year ago on her birthday. Paul’s birthday is the day before.
