Rutgers basketball: Future opponent loses star freshman indefinitely

Rutgers basketball’s first high-major opponent of the 2024-25 season will be without its star freshman when the two sides meet in Las Vegas. Notre Dame announced Tuesday that Sir Mohammed, a four-star freshman guard who was ranked in the top-50 nationally in the 2024 class, will be out indefinitely after undergoing surgery Monday for what was termed a “lower body injury.”
