Buoyed by a dominant first quarter, Michigan women's basketball – the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament – beat the Holy Cross Crusaders without much stress Friday evening, 83-48, at Crisler Center in a Fort Worth-3 region first-round matchup. The Wolverines held a 21-point lead after one quarter and weren’t challenged the rest of the way. U-M's standout sophomores, as usual, led the way: Olivia Olson, Mila Holloway and Syla Swords combined for 45 points.
