Junior-college offensive lineman commits to Georgia Tech

The Georgia Tech football program continued to add pieces to its 2025 roster Friday with a player from the junior college ranks. JaKolby Jones, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive lineman, announced on X, formerly Twitter, his commitment to transfer to Tech. Jones played in nine games in the 2024 season at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi. Originally from Many, Louisiana, Jones was considered a two-star prospect, according to 247Sports, in the class of 2023. He’s now rated as a three-star recruit, by 247Sports, and reportedly had more than a dozen offers, including Arkansas State, California, North Texas, South Alabama and Tulsa.
