Johnson holds off Bernards in second half - Boys basketball recap

Dean Yellen Jr and Ryan Malcolm each recorded 11 points as Johnson defeated Bernards 52-41 in Bernardsville. Johnson led 33-17 at halftime and held on despite being outscored 24-19 in the second half. Luke LaPorta added eight points for Johnson. Casey Hoeckele led Bernards (6-8) with 18 points and eight rebounds. Johnson (10-2) extended its winning streak to three games and will visit Hillside on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
