Joe Burrow wants 'fun and girls' this summer amid Brady tension

Joe Burrow might be catching a few strays from Tom Brady this weekend at their flag football game but this summer, the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback very much plans to have the last laugh. Burrow, 29, was pictured out last weekend with Alix Earle, one of Brady's rumored love interests, just days after being pictured at a roulette table in Vegas with Hollywood star Jessica Alba. It sparked a brief flurry of rumors that Burrow might be involved with Alba, 44, but it turned out they just happened to be in the same place together. And while Alba is happy with her boyfriend Danny Ramirez, a source close to Burrow told Daily Mail it won't be the only time the NFL star is seen out and about with famous women. 'His off-field life is great, he's rich as hell, lives his life to the fullest. He's a fun guy, and that is one reason that he has so many opportunities with love,' the source said. 'He has been linked with a lot of women, some being nothing more than just friends, like Jessica Alba, but he loves being able to date around. The offseason for him is the offseason and he wants to fill that up with fun and now girls. 'He wants to date around, and he wants people to know that he is single because once the season starts, his priorities will shift to being the best QB in the game.' Perhaps ironically, that football quest is one that seven-time Super Bowl winner Brady is well-placed to help Burrow with. Whether he asks Brady for tips is another thing, though. Brady took a verbal jab at Burrow in the draft for their flag football event in LA on Wednesday night. 'At least he's here! No fashion parties to attend,' Brady said, joking about the name of the 'Wildcat' team Burrow is playing for this weekend. 'That's what they called Joe at those Oscars parties... Wildcat!' Burrow missed almost three months of the NFL season in 2025 after having surgery on turf toe, an issue that pretty much derailed the Bengals' hopes of making the postseason. The source close to him repeated what is well known in NFL circles - Burrow is desperate to put that right in 2026 and he's aiming for the ultimate prize. 'Joe is taking all the s***-talking from Brady in stride and knows that Tom is just doing it for the entertainment of it all,' they said. 'They aren't going to get into a full feud over his remarks. 'For Joe, it is all locker room talk and nothing he wouldn't get on the field, so if Tom wants to roast him, Joe is all for it.' 'Joe is 29 and he desperately wants the next few years of his career, while in his prime to be injury free. He so wants to win and get back to the Super Bowl and his on-field life has to meet his off-field life in its success.' But for now, he wants to let off steam before the serious business of practice resumes later in the year. 'Anyone that wants to shoot their shot for Joe, do it now, because he likes the attention and is eager to date around,' the source reiterated. Burrow's last known relationship was with the model Olivia Ponton - their romance was exposed when it emerged that she was in his Cincinnati mansion when thieves broke in, leading to her calling police. Before that, he was in a long-term relationship with college sweetheart Olivia Holzmacher. Exactly when they split is unclear - many thought they were still together when news of his Ponton romance came out. 'I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one and way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share so that's all I got to say about that,' Burrow said in the aftermath.
