Cohesive New Providence wins third Group 1 girls tennis title in a row

There was no down-to-the-wire drama like last year, but a win counts all the same. Second-seeded New Providence swept all five courts in its convincing 5-0 win over top-seeded Glen Rock in the NJSIAA Group 1 state final on Thursday at Mercer County Park in West Windsor.
