Australian Open 2026 prize money: How much can Sinner and Alcaraz win?

THERE has been a huge prize money boost for the 2026 Australian Open. Jannik Sinner and Madison Keys head to Melbourne as the two reigning singles champions. Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev will look to stop Sinner from winning it three times in a row. While Aryna Sabalenka will be out for revenge on Keys after being beaten in last year’s final. A staggering £55m will be dished out to players at this year’s Australian Open. The total purse has increased by 16 per cent and the cheque for the winner is up 19 per cent on 2025.
