HOUSTON, Texas-- The Houston Texans host the Indianapolis Colts today, Sunday, Oct. 27, with kickoff slated for 1 p.m. Eastern on CBS and Paramount Plus+.
Several streaming services will broadcast the game live and you can watch on Fubo (free trial and $20 off your first month), DirecTV Stream (free trial), Paramount+ (free trial) and Sling (promotional offers).
It’s always a good one when these two divisional squads meet.
You go back to the season finale of 2023 when these two teams met, and the winner of that game took the divisional title and a playoff berth. The Texans won that, and have since used that momentum to build upon so far into this season.
Even with the loss to Green Bay, it was a credible loss to another terrific young squad in the league.
As for the Colts, they are benefiting from the return of quarterback Anthony Richardson, but have a long way to go to match up to the level of Houston.

It went down to field goals during Houston’s Week 7 loss to Green Bay. Their own Ka’imi Fairbairn knocked down a 35-yarder with a little under two minutes to go, then Green Bay’s Brandon McManus knocked down the 45-yarder as time expired.
Both teams hold a simultaneous record of 5-2. For Houston, it was the run game that carried the offense as Joe Mixon had 115 yards on 25 carries (4.6 per carry) and two scores which both came in the second period, with the entire run game totaling 142 yards. Quarterback C.J. Stroud struggled with 86 passing yards and completing slightly below 50% of his passes, along with being sacked four times.
Indianapolis got another win and have now won four of their last five, really showing something brewing out there. Richardson played in his first game since late September after suffering an early-season injury, and had a productive 129 passing yards and 56 rushing yards, leading the run game for the team. A couple made field goals from Matt Gay in the fourth period broke the tie, and eventually got the win once the time ran out.
