May 20, 2026, 9:56 a.m. ET In less than a week, we'll learn the U.S. men's national team World Cup roster. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino will reveal his 26-man squad on Tuesday, May 26, during a nationally televised event in New York City. Fox will broadcast the event live from The Rooftop at Pier 17 in Manhattan from 3-4 p.m. ET, with Alexi Lalas, Stu Holden, Carli Lloyd, Rob Stone, Jenny Taft and Landon Donovan hosting. Prior to the roster reveal, there will be a fan festival at Pier 17 beginning at 1 p.m. Fans can register to attend the event HERE. "You can feel the energy building around this team, and fans want to be part of that," said David Wright, Chief Commercial Officer at U.S. Soccer. "This event is about more than just unveiling a roster. It’s about channeling that energy and bringing people together behind the group heading into the World Cup." The USMNT will serve as co-host of the 2026 World Cup along with Mexico and Canada. Rosters for the 48 participating countries have already started to be released, with FIFA imposing a June 1 deadline for every country to submit their squad. Following the release of the roster, the USMNT's World Cup squad will train at the newly opened U.S. Soccer National Training Center outside of Atlanta. The team will then travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to face Senegal on May 31 in the first of two pre-World Cup tune-ups. The U.S. will then face Germany in Chicago on June 6 before heading west to prepare for its World Cup opener against Paraguay in Los Angeles in June 12.
