A homophobic slur was directed at a Flint City Bucks player during a June 13 match at Oakland County FC in Royal Oak, the club said on Wednesday, June 17. In an email to the Free Press, the team confirmed that USL League Two is currently investigating the incident and reviewing it in accordance with its disciplinary process. The inappropriate conduct was reported in a match report submitted by the head referee. USL League Two is a professional soccer league in the United States with 158 clubs across 37 states.
