Portland Trail Blazers at Sacramento Kings: preseason game preview, time, radio, TV

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija will make his preseason debut Sunday at the Sacramento Kings. He sat out Friday night’s 101-99 loss to the LA Clippers in Seattle for personal religious reasons. The Blazers will again be without Shaedon Sharpe and Robert Williams III. The status of Matisse Thybulle and Anfernee Simons was unknown. Blazers coach Chauncey Billups will not be on the bench. He is in Springfield, Mass., where he will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday. Blazers: Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) and Robert Williams III (hamstring) are out. Anfernee Simons (ankle) and Matisse Thybulle (knee), status unknown. They missed Friday night’s game against the LA Clippers. The Blazers host Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany) at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Moda Center.
