AL BE DAMNED ‘Out of shape’ – Alex Pereira brutally trolled by fans after revealing HW physique for UFC White House card
ALEX PEREIRA was brutally trolled by fight fans after revealing his heavyweight physique.
The fan favourite vacated the UFC light-heavyweight title in February to move up to the 265lbs division.
And the Brazilian will look to become the promotion’s first THREE WEIGHT world champion when he throws down with Ciryl Gane for the interim 265lbs on the UFC‘s White House card on June 14.
Pereira, 39, has well and truly been enjoying his heavyweight journey, wolfing down more food and pumping some serious iron.
His once lean physique has undergone a dramatic transformation and has been replaced by a bulkier and slightly softer frame.
Pereira recently gave MMA fans a glimpse at his new rig in an Instagram photo dump, which was posted with the accompanying caption: “Heavyweight.”
And several of his legion of followers were quick to express their concerns after getting a glimpse at a much larger ‘Poatan’.
One commented: “I don’t like him at heavyweight lol looks really out of shape.”
Another said: “Too much weight for his body.”
And another said: “Bro is dirty bulking, his cardio will be s**t. I got Gane winning if it goes past round two.”

One remarked: “Is it just me, and tell me if I’m tripping, but don’t he look like he’s hella overweight?”
Another chimed in: “You better shed some of that weight because it will slow you down.”
Several fans, however, were quick to defend Pereira’s physique, with one saying: “He is looking like a monster.”
Another said: “Bro still has visible abs, which puts him above 90 per cent of UFC heavyweights, physique-wise.”
And another said: “What’s funny is ‘fat’ ‘Poatan’ is still probably the most ripped UFC heavyweight asides from Gane and maybe [Alexander] Volkov.”
Victory over Gane will see Pereira earn a historic heavyweight title unification bout against full champion Tom Aspinall.
The fight will almost certainly take place early next year as Aspinall is still recovering from the horror DOUBLE EYE POKE he suffered in his maiden title defence against Gane last October.
