ESPN “College GameDay” will be without one of its mainstays on Saturday as the show travels to Oregon. Lee Corso will not be in Eugene for the show ahead of No. 3 Oregon vs. No. 2 Ohio State, according to ESPN colleague Rece Davis. The 89-year-old Corso is missing his second consecutive week on “GameDay” due to health reasons but is doing better, Davis said. “I talked to (Corso) earlier and he said he was sorry he is missing is best friend, The Duck,” Davis told reporters on Friday. Corso’s game picks while putting on a mascot head have been a defining part of the “GameDay” experience for decades, including several moments where he put on the Duck head and picked Oregon. He has said before that Eugene is his favorite “GameDay” location.
