High school sports photos capture the beauty of the season across Massachusetts

The leaf peepers and foliage seekers have gotten an eyeful this fall, but they also may have missed their fair share of sights in the high school sports world. Thankfully the high school students in the Globe’s photojournalism program can show them what they missed. The schools showcased in this week’s photo gallery stretches from Northampton to Dennis-Yarmouth, and features eight sports and 25 teams, as well as cheerleaders, fan sections, and amazing natural beauty, too.
