A Los Angeles Dodgers fan has gone viral for her wild celebrations in the stands after watching her team's dramatic win over the New York Yankees in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night.
Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam to propel his Dodgers side to a comeback 6-3 victory in an all-time historic baseball moment on Friday in LA, sparking pandemonium in the stands as he went around the bases.
And for one Dodgers fan and what is presumably her partner, the wild scenes seemingly prompted an even wilder celebration.
As the stadium erupted in cheering, the woman begins twerking and grinding up against the man next to her while he waves at the crowd before grabbing her waist.
The clip immediately went viral across social media, recording millions of views but fans were split on whether the celebration took things too far.
'Dodgers fans are wild; players match their energy,' said one reply, while another wrote: 'I am in tears laughing.'
Other supporters were unimpressed, with one saying in response: 'Those two should be ejected for such crass behavior, especially with kids around,'
Another reply from a Dodgers fan said: 'Disgusting and 2nd hand embarrassment that these are “my people”.'
It has been a weekend of celebration for baseball fans in Los Angeles with the Dodgers taking a 2-0 lead in the World Series against the Yankees.
The team followed up Friday's triumph with a 4-2 win on Saturday, although it was a nervy ending as the Yankees left the bases loaded at the top of the ninth.
Star man Shohei Ohtani went off with a shoulder injury diving to seal second base, giving the Dodgers a huge scare ahead of the next three games in New York.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Ohtani will have more tests on Sunday but they were 'encouraged' by his range of movement in the locker room after the game.
Game 3 of the World Series is at Yankee Stadium on Monday night.
