Dates, times set for pair of Detroit Lions preseason games

May 17, 2026, 9:42 a.m. ET The NFL released its entire 272-game regular season schedule last week. Now comes word of part of the Detroit Lions' preseason slate. Game times and dates are set for two of the Lions' three exhibition games, according to their opponents. The Lions open the preseason at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals and close exhibition play at 3 p.m. Aug. 29 against the Indianapolis Colts. Both games are on the road.
